Danny Varughese is a visionary psychotherapist and consciousness engineer whose work bridges clinical neuroscience, somatic experiencing, and human potential.
As Co-Founder and Clinical Director of Axon & Arbor, he builds therapeutic modalities that move beyond traditional talk therapy - activating neurological and psychological change through action, play, and somatic engagement.
With a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Temple University, Varughese has managed high-volume caseloads, provided Trauma-Focused CBT to youth, and supervised pre-licensed clinicians.
He is the inventor of Neural Combat - a groundbreaking somatic group therapy experience conducted inside live Nerf battle arenas in partnership with Strikezone Arena, leveraging the neurobiology of play to flood the brain with BDNF and bypass the defenses encountered in traditional therapy.
A lifelong musician and singer-songwriter, Varughese doesn't merely practice therapy - he engineers consciousness. Whether leading a clinical team, facilitating Neural Combat, or speaking on the future of mental health, he operates as a catalyst for transformation.
